Volunteer efforts are underway in Central Jersey today to produce a charity Christmas CD this season. The local media company is announcing the charity that will benefit from this year's CD sales, and releasing a portion of the track list.
The Christmas CD, this year produced by parent company of WBNC News, photography and audio company Wolverton Media, features contributions by accomplished pianists, singers, and other musicians, and highlights your favorite classic songs and medleys, and can be purchased at WolvertonMedia.com.
Past charities that have benefited from the sales of these CDs have been Samaritan's Purse and Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund. This year's charity is the Manny L. Friedman Foundation, which raises funds for important no kill animal shelters.
"All monies go to the animal shelters," said President Susan Friedman and Vice President Sam Friedman while filming an informational video at Wolverton Media Studios yesterday to help promote the CD. "None [are] used for administrative costs."
Ave Maria, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, O Holy Night, and White Christmas are just some of the exciting songs on this year's CD. A reading of an original short story, written just for this CD, is also included.
The CD goes on pre sale November 28th, and will be released on December 5th. A physical CD can be ordered, as well as digital downloads for your computer and smartphones. All profits will go to The Manny L. Friedman Foundation. To purchase the CD and to donate to the charity, visit WolvertonMedia.com

We can't believe it's here already!
My front hall is full of equipment in anticipation for this weekend's wedding!
Tulika and I are very excited about what will be a great day! We've drawn up a layout of the church and decided where each camera should go and what it will be shooting.
RELATED: Exploring the Space for a March Wedding
Tomorrow, we'll set up all of the equipment and make sure everything works correctly, and make sure we remember where all of the buttons are so there are no surprises on wedding day!
Here's our schedule for Saturday
1. We start driving up north jersey early in the morning, coffee and bagels in hand.
2. First stop is the bride's house to film her getting her hair and makeup done.
3. We head off to the church and set up the cameras all over the church, getting every angle possible!
4. We back all of our footage onto our computer (several different places)
5. Move entire set-up to the reception location
6. Capture the first dance
7. Find some cake
8. Congratulate the happy couple
9. Head home
Be sure to follow us on social media, as we will be posting all day behind the scenes!
LOS ANGELES, CA -
Wolverton Media has again been chosen to create the advertising trailers for this year's First Glance Film Festival, taking place in Los Angeles, California.
Over 47 independent films have been selected to be shown at the festival, and will be shown from April 24-26 at the Regal Cinemas on West Olympic Boulevard in LA.
The trailers will be done in about a week, and we will post it on their client page.

Today, Tulika and Ben drove up to North Jersey to explore the sanctuary of a church, where in March, we will be videoing a wedding!
We also met the bride-to-be (who couldn't be nicer!) and not only got a lot of answers to our questions, but also was able to feel her excitement of the big day! See you guys in March! This will be a fun wedding!
Enjoy the photos below!
WOLVERTON MEDIA recently had the opportunity to work with First Glance Film Festival, which, since their inception in 1996, has become one of the fastest growing truly independent film fests in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
We made a pair of trailers for their upcoming festival in Philadelphia at the Franklin Theater at the Franklin Institute. (see bottom of blog post)
Members of WOLVERTON MEDIA's staff will be at the film festival and we will be documenting our time and uploading it to our YouTube channel. We will also be tweeting throughout the event.
You can see the full list of films that we be shown at the festival HERE, and you can get tickets to the showings HERE.
We just put our first commercial live on our homepage!
We wanted to list all the services we provide in a fun and interesting way with Adobe After Effects.

The Wedding of Adam & Christa Benoit
We are very happy with how the photos came out from our very first wedding! The ceremony was so much fun to shoot and we were able to capture many great moments between the two.
Wolverton Media wishes them the best!

We use Photoshop with our photos, usually just to fix the lighting a little, or to make special moments we capture Black & White if that's what looks good.
During our recent wedding we covered, we captured a great moment: An emotional bride looking at her soon-to-be husband. The only problem: A pickup truck was just over her shoulder, and your eye was drawn right to the truck instead of on the bride.
We put the picture in Photoshop to see what we could do with it. Within 30 minutes, we had a pickup truck-less picture that we're proud of.
See the before and after below!
